| ECMS, Inc. is committed to providing services that conform to strict and efficient quality standards and procedures. Subsequently, ECMS has developed and implemented a quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) program to ensure that the professional, technical, and safety and health services provided to our clients are delivered in a precise and accurate manner specific to the needs of each project. We maintain an efficient, safe, healthy, and productive work environment for our staff, contractors and subcontractors. We are in compliance with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988, which mandates that Federal Vendors certify that they will provide a drug-free workplace, and prohibit employees to use, possess, or distribute illegal drugs or controlled substances.     Our commitment to providing quality services is embodied in its Quality Assurance Plan (QAP). This QAP requires and ensures conformance with strict industry and regulatory QA/QC standards. ECMS, Inc. emphasis is placed on QA/QC procedures that ensure project compliance with the most current Local, State, and Federal methods and requirements in conjunction with our clients' specific requirements.  ECMS QAP was developed to meet the most stringent requirements of EPA and State's QA/QC regulatory guidelines and the American Standard of Testing Materials (ASTM), as well as the general requirements of the above ECMS Quality Assurance Policy Statement.
ECMS project QA/QC goals and objectives are to ensure the prevention of defective work through the implementation of required procedural and analytical standards. Our management personnel is responsible for establishing and enforcing project specific QA/QC procedures. ECMS, Inc. technical personnel are responsible for implementing and maintaining project specific QA/QC procedures. If defective work is encountered during a project, the nonconforming activities are documented and reported to the appropriate ECMS and client management personnel. Appropriate corrective action is implemented to prevent reoccurrence of the encountered offense.
ECMS utilizes a two-tiered approach to implement its QA/QC Program. First-tier elements are applicable to all internal and external project requirements. These elements include the QA/QC observation, documentation, monitoring, and sampling programs and resulting data quality assessment and reporting. These QA/QC elements allow management to evaluate the quality of work on a continuing basis. The second-tier elements are specific to ECMS rendered by analytical services [e.g., air emissions, organic, inorganic or physical properties] and defined by the analytical laboratory methods routinely employed. |
